Ticketmaster 2.0 for BlackBerry now available

Want to purchase tickets to a movie using your BlackBerry device? Well, it's going to get a lot easier with the introduction of the new Ticketmaster app now available for BlackBerry devices. Currently in version 2.0, it is available for download from the BlackBerry Beta Zone. The app has been given a total overhaul, with an improved UI, added features and a search functionality to make it easier to find what you want.

The new Ticketmaster app will also make use of your phone's GPS to help you find events wherever you are. It will also integrate with your Calendar to make it easier to add your events to your schedule. All you will need is the app, a Ticketmaster account, and a BlackBerry phone with an internet connection. With the app you can select events, purchase tickets, and even select the seats you want (if applicable) - talk about a fully functional service. However, it still is in beta so expect the occasional bug to crop up now and then. Head over to the BlackBerry Beta Zone to download it.
